With your permission to sent you marketing, appointment confirmation/reminders & exercise programmes via e-mail
Systems We Use to Hold the Data
Cliniko - This is our booking system & holds details such as name, contact telephone number, e-mail address, treatment notes & exercise programmes.
Rehab My Patient - This system is sometimes used to prescribe exercise programmes & only requires name & e-mail address. Rehab My Patient have issued their own GDPR statement
Mailchimp - We send out regular newsletters & will continue to do so. Only people who have opted in will receive these mailings going forward. The only data held by Mailchimp is name & e-mail address
Notes - Some treatment notes are held on paper & these will be kept for 7 years. If you do not come to see us in 7 years, these notes will be confidentially destroyed.
Types of Data We Collect
We use Google Analytics to learn more about our Users’ activity. This does not collect specific information about you, it simply collects information such as page views, what browser you used & how long you stayed. None of this is tracked back to you as an individual user.
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at email@example.com.
We do not share any personal information with any third party without your written consent.
